- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour
- butter - 1 c
- water - 1 Tbsp
- almond extract - 2 tsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- orange juice
- slivered almonds - 1 item
- Egg Wash For Top:1 egg
How to make chinese almond cookies:
Egg Wash For Top:1 egg1 Tbsp. water slivered almonds Cream butter and sugar. Sift dry ingredients. Mix egg, extracts and juice. Add flour and egg mixtures alternately to butter mixture (may need to mix by hand). Roll dough into walnut size balls; press down with damp cloth over bottom of glass.
