Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 1/4 c
- water - 1/2 qt
- chili powder - 1 tsp
- ketchup - 1/2 3/4
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- tomato juice - 1 qt
- kidney beans - 1 qt
- hamburg, browned - 1 qt
- couple shakes red pepper not too much - 1 item
- couple shakes Worcestershire sauce - 1 item
How to make chili soup:
Mix everything together. Bring to a boil. Thicken with 1 tablespoon cornstarch. Cold pack in boiling water bath for 1 hour. Five batches will make 14 quarts.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Ground beef, Beef.
