Ingredients/Components
- corn chips - 3 c
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- shredded Colby or Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- can chili - 1 oz
- sour cream optional - 1 item
- sliced ripe olives optional - 1 item
How to make chili pie:
Heat oven to 350°. In 1-quart casserole, layer 2 cups corn chips, onion, 1/2 cup cheese and chili. Top with remaining 1 cup corn chips. Bake 20 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup cheese. Bake an additional 5 to 7 minutes or until cheese is melted. Garnish with sour cream and olives, if desired. Makes about 4 servings.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, Ground beef.
