Ingredients/Components
- salt - 2 tsp
- water - 1 c
- chili powder - 2 tsp
- bay leaf - 1 item
- ground beef
- oregano - 2 tsp
- can tomato paste - 1 oz
- cloves minced garlic - 2 item
- can whole tomatoes - 1 oz
- beef bouillon cube - 1 item
- diced green peppers - 2 Tbsp
- crushed red peppers - 1/2 tsp
- medium sliced onions - 2 item

How to make chili con carne:
Combine first two ingredients in a large saucepan. Brown meat. Drain off fat. Add next 12 ingredients. Stir to blend. Cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally. Remove bay leaf. Makes 6 servings approximately.Recipe categories: Main dish, Beef, Chili.
