Ingredients/Components
- vinegar - 2 Tbsp
- 5 oz - 1 can
- chili powder - 2 3
- ground beef - 1 lb
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- 75 oz - 2 cans
- ribs celery, sliced - 2 item
- mushrooms or fresh mushrooms - 1 can
How to make chili con carne:
Brown ground beef. Saut onion, green pepper, mushrooms, celery and stew tomatoes until vegetables are tender. Combine ground beef and vegetables in a large pan. Stir in chili powder. Add tomato soup and water and bring to a boil. Add kidney beans and vinegar. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer for several hours.Recipe categories: Main dish, Beef, Chili.
