Chili chicken
Ingredients/Components
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- pepper to taste - 1 item
- salt to taste - 1 item
- cans mushroom soup - 3 item
- shredded sharp Cheddar - 3 c
- uncooked medium noodles - 16 oz
- can chopped pimento - 1 oz
- jalapeno peppers, finely chopped, pickled - 2 Tbsp
- chopped Fri Chick 2 small cans; save gravy - 3 4
How to make chili chicken:
Cook noodles as directed on package; drain. In a large skillet, cook and stir onions in butter until tender. Stir in soup, pimento and jalapeno peppers and gravy from Fri Chick. In a 4-quart casserole layer 1/2 noodles and 1/2 the soup mixture and 1/2 the cheese. Repeat. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 45 minutes.
