Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- vinegar - 1 tsp
- Crisco - 4 Tbsp
- diced onion - 1/2 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- can water - 1 item
- black pepper - 1/8 tsp
- cans red kidney beans - 2 1/2
- can condensed tomato soup - 1 1/2
- chili powder or to suit taste
How to make chili:
Brown ground beef in Crisco. Add onion and cook 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Add rest of ingredients, and stir well. Cover and simmer 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. Makes 6 to 8 servings.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, One Dish meal, Chili.
