• chili powder
  • ground beef
  • large onions, chopped - 3 item
  • can tomatoes - 1 item
  • small green pepper, chopped optional - 1 item
  • cans kidney beans optional - 2 item

How to make chili:

Brown beef; add onions and brown lightly. Add green pepper, tomatoes and salt to taste. Cook until tomatoes cook done; add water until soupy and cook slowly 1 1/2 hours. Place beans in pot with more water, if needed. Add chili powder and cook 1/2 hour more.
