Ingredients/Components
- chili powder
- ground beef
- large onions, chopped - 3 item
- can tomatoes - 1 item
- small green pepper, chopped optional - 1 item
- cans kidney beans optional - 2 item
How to make chili:
Brown beef; add onions and brown lightly. Add green pepper, tomatoes and salt to taste. Cook until tomatoes cook done; add water until soupy and cook slowly 1 1/2 hours. Place beans in pot with more water, if needed. Add chili powder and cook 1/2 hour more.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, One Dish meal, Chili.
