Ingredients/Components
- ground chuck or lean hamburger - 3 lb
- dried onions or 1/2 c - 2 oz
- tomato juice - 1 qt
- water - 1/2 qt
- chili powder - 4 tsp
- can kidney beans - 1 qt
- salt to taste - 1 item
How to make chili:
Cook hamburger until done; drain. Add onions, chili powder, salt, tomato juice, water and kidney beans. Simmer until done. Can use 2 pounds hamburger. Makes smaller amount.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, One Dish meal, Chili.
