Ingredients/Components
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- oregano - 1/4 tsp
- garlic clove, minced - 1 item
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- eggs, slightly beaten - 4 item
- half & half - 1 c
- grated sharp Cheddar cheese - 1/2 lb
- grated Monterey Jack cheese - 1/2 lb
- hamburg - 1 lb
- cans whole green chiles - 2 oz
How to make chile relleno pie:
Brown meat with peppers, onions, oregano, garlic, salt and pepper. Seed the chile peppers and spread on the bottom of a greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Cover with meat mixture.
