Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 7 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- cold water - 3/4 c
- oil - 1/2 c
- baking powder - 3 tsp
- cream of tartar - 1/2 tsp
How to make chiffon cake:
Mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Put in large bowl, and make hole in center. In different bowl beat egg whites and put in cream of tartar. Put all other ingredients in hole of dry ingredients, and mix well. Fold in egg whites. Use a tube pan. Bake 1 hour. at 350°.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, < 4 hours.
