Chicken yakitori
Ingredients/Components
- boneless chicken breast, skin removed and cut into 1 1/2-inch cubes - 3 lb
- scallions, thinly sliced - 1/2 c
- cloves garlic, minced - 2 item
- soy sauce - 1/2 c
- lemon juice - 1/4 c
- vegetable oil - 1/4 c
- sugar - 2 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- ginger - 1/2 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
How to make chicken yakitori:
Combine all ingredients except chicken. Mix thoroughly; pour over chicken cubes. Marinate, covered. Refrigerate for several hours or overnight, stirring occasionally.Thread chicken on skewers; you can alternate 2-inch scallion pieces between chicken. Broil on rack in preheated broiler or out door grill over hot coals. Turn to cook on all sides. Cook each skewer 5 to 10 minutes or until done to taste.
