Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- diced celery - 1/2 c
- macaroni - 1/2 c
- red onion - 1 item
- yellow onion - 1 item
- white onion - 1 item
- medium can tomato paste - 1 item
- frozen okra - 2 c
- diced potato medium - 1 item
- frozen baby limas - 2 c
- carrots fresh - 2 c
- to 5 chicken backs - 4 item
- string beans fresh - 2 c
- can Niblets summer crisp corn - 1 item
- Herb-Ox chicken broth - 2 pkg
How to make chicken-vegetable soup:
Remove fat from chicken backs and boil backs with onions, celery and Herb-Ox broth for 30 minutes. Combine string beans, carrots, limas and tomato paste. Cook 20 minutes (until vegetables are tender). Add okra, potato, corn and macaroni. Cook 10 minutes. Serve with corn bread.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Chicken, Pasta.
