Chicken tortilla casserole
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 3/4 c
- carton sour cream - 1 oz
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- Cheddar cheese, grated - 1 lb
- can diced green chiles - 1 item
- can mushroom soup - 1 item
- corn tortillas, cut into quarters - 1 pkg
- about 6 large chicken breasts, cooked and cut into chunks
How to make chicken tortilla casserole:
Use a 3-quart casserole dish and make layer of tortillas, layer of chicken, layer of sauce, then cheese. Make about 3 combined layers and end with cheese on top. Cover and bake at 350° for 1 hour. Remove cover the last 15 minutes. Serves 8 to 10.Recipe categories: Chicken, Poultry, Casseroles.
