  • can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
  • can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
  • onion - 1 item
  • corn tortillas - 12 item
  • sharp Cheddar cheese - 1/2 lb
  • Monterey Jack cheese - 1/2 lb
  • olives - 1/2 c
  • chili without beans - 1 (15
  • chicken meat - 4 c
  • cans Ortega chili con salsa - 2 oz

How to make chicken tortilla casserole:

Precook and shred chicken meat. Set aside. Shred Monterey Jack cheese and Cheddar cheese; set aside. Finely chop onion; set aside. Mix together soups, chili, salsa, onion and olives; set aside. Tear tortillas into small pieces. Line bottom of large dish with 1/2 tortillas, 1/2 chicken, 1/2 sauce and 1/2 cheeses. Repeat layers, ending with cheese. Bake 45 to 50 minutes at 350°.
