- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- onion - 1 item
- corn tortillas - 12 item
- sharp Cheddar cheese - 1/2 lb
- Monterey Jack cheese - 1/2 lb
- olives - 1/2 c
- chili without beans - 1 (15
- chicken meat - 4 c
- cans Ortega chili con salsa - 2 oz
How to make chicken tortilla casserole:
Precook and shred chicken meat. Set aside. Shred Monterey Jack cheese and Cheddar cheese; set aside. Finely chop onion; set aside. Mix together soups, chili, salsa, onion and olives; set aside. Tear tortillas into small pieces. Line bottom of large dish with 1/2 tortillas, 1/2 chicken, 1/2 sauce and 1/2 cheeses. Repeat layers, ending with cheese.
