Chicken tetrazzini



  • flour - 1/4 c
  • butter - 7 Tbsp
  • evaporated milk - 1 c
  • paprika - 1 item
  • can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
  • chicken
  • Cheddar cheese - 1 item
  • medium fine noodles - 1/2 lb

How to make chicken tetrazzini:

Cook and bone chicken. Reserve broth. Mix soup and 3 tablespoons of butter. Set aside.

Make a sauce of 4 tablespoons of butter, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 2 cups broth and milk. Thicken (comes to a boil). Add chicken and soup/butter mixture. Cook noodles in remaining broth for 8 minutes. Drain and place in a 13 x 9-inch pan. Pour on sauce and top with grated Cheddar cheese. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
