Chicken tetrazzini
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 pt
- salt - 1 item
- butter - 1/4 lb
- pepper - 1 item
- Parmesan cheese - 1 item
- spaghetti - 8 oz
- can mushrooms - 8 oz
- cans cream of mushroom soup - 2 item
- cooking sherry - 1 item
- diced chicken 1 whole - 5 c
How to make chicken tetrazzini:
Saute large can (8 ounce) mushrooms in 1/4 pound butter. Add 5 cups of diced chicken (1 whole). Heat 2 cans cream of mushroom soup and 1 pint of sour cream together. Add a little cooking sherry and salt and pepper to taste. Stir in 1 package spaghetti, cooked. (Cut spaghetti in 3 or 4 pieces before boiling in salted water.) Mix all well with chicken and mushrooms. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top and bake in 325° oven for 45 minutes.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Casseroles.
