Chicken teriyaki



  • sugar - 1/4 c
  • ginger - 2 tsp
  • garlic powder - 1/8 tsp
  • soy sauce
  • dry sherry - 1/4 c
  • chicken pieces, washed and patted dry cut breasts in two pieces - 3 lb

How to make chicken teriyaki:

Marinade:3/4 c. soy sauce1/4 c. sugar2 tsp. ginger1/8 tsp. garlic powder1/4 c. dry sherry Pierce all pieces of chicken with sharp fork and place in shallow pan or baking dish. Pour marinade over all. Turn at intervals for even marinating. Place in greased shallow pan or on broiler rack in single layer. Bake 10 minutes, skin side down, at 450°. Baste and reduce oven temperature to 350°. Bake 30 minutes or until tender. Heat remaining marinade for dipping.
