Ingredients/Components

  • chicken, cut in cubes - 2 lb
  • oil - 2 Tbsp
  • slivered almonds - 1/2 c
  • large can pineapple chunks - 1 item
  • teriyaki sauce - 1/2 c
  • grated ginger root - 1 item

How to make chicken teriyaki:

Cut up chicken in cube-size pieces. Heat wok or frying pan until a drop of water rolls like a ball. Add oil. Add chicken and ginger root. Stir-fry until chicken turns white. Add teriyaki sauce and juice from canned pineapple. Stir until mixture boils. Reduce heat and add pineapple and almonds. Cook another 3 minutes.
