Chicken teriyaki
Ingredients/Components
- chicken, cut in cubes - 2 lb
- oil - 2 Tbsp
- slivered almonds - 1/2 c
- large can pineapple chunks - 1 item
- teriyaki sauce - 1/2 c
- grated ginger root - 1 item
How to make chicken teriyaki:
Cut up chicken in cube-size pieces. Heat wok or frying pan until a drop of water rolls like a ball. Add oil. Add chicken and ginger root. Stir-fry until chicken turns white. Add teriyaki sauce and juice from canned pineapple. Stir until mixture boils. Reduce heat and add pineapple and almonds. Cook another 3 minutes.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Poultry.
