Chicken tarragon
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 2 tsp
- butter - 1/4 c
- water - 1/4 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- dash of paprika - 1 item
- can sliced mushrooms, drained - 3 oz
- boneless chicken breasts - 6 item
- medium onion, sliced - 1 item
- crushed dried tarragon - 2 tsp
How to make chicken tarragon:
Combine first three ingredients. Sprinkle over chicken. Brown slowly in butter. Remove from pan (use same pan). Cook onion until tender. (Move onion aside.) Add chicken, mushrooms and tarragon. Spoon onions over chicken. Add water and cover. Simmer for 1 hour. Serves 6.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Poultry.
