  • sour cream - 1 item
  • salt - 3/4 tsp
  • vegetable oil - 2 Tbsp
  • lemon juice - 1 item
  • shredded lettuce - 2 c
  • taco shells - 10 item
  • small onion, sliced - 1 item
  • shredded cheese - 1 c
  • taco sauce - 1/3 c
  • chopped cooked chicken - 2 c
  • small can chopped green chilies, drained - 1 item
  • small avocado - 1 item
  • sliced olives, drained - 1/3 c

How to make chicken tacos:

Heat chicken, 3/4 teaspoon salt, chilies and onion in oil over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until chicken is hot. Heat shells as directed on package. Cut avocado lengthwise into slices; sprinkle with lemon juice and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Spoon about 1/4 cup chicken mixture into each shell. Top with cheese, lettuce, olives and avocado. Serve with taco sauce and sour cream. Yields 10 tacos.
