Chicken stir-fry
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- water - 1 Tbsp
- oil - 2 Tbsp
- ginger - 1/2 tsp
- garlic powder - 1/4 tsp
- pepper - 1 item
- soy sauce - 3 Tbsp
- sherry - 2 Tbsp
- whole chicken breasts, skinned, boned and halved - 2 item
- small onion, cut into rings - 1 item
- frozen broccoli and carrot mixture - 16 oz
How to make chicken stir-fry:
Cut the chicken into small pieces. In large skillet or wok heat oil; stir-fry the chicken 1 minute. In small bowl combine ginger, soy sauce, sherry, sugar, garlic powder and pepper. Pour over chicken. Cook 2 minutes. Stir in frozen vegetables and onion; cover. Simmer for 6 to 8 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender, stirring once. In small bowl combine flour and water until smooth; gradually add to chicken mixture. Stir until smooth and thickened. Serve over rice.Recipe categories: Main dish, One Dish meal, Chicken breast.
