Ingredients/Components
- half and half - 1 c
- flour - 3/4 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- heavy cream - 1 c
- chopped celery - 1 c
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- cooked rice - 1 c
- large whole chicken breasts - 2 item
- large whole onion - 1 item
How to make chicken soup:
Boil chicken; remove. Simmer 1 quart chicken broth with onion and celery until tender. Mash onion with a potato masher and remove any large pieces. Mash celery. In a separate pan, melt butter and blend in flour. Add to chicken broth. Pour the 2 kinds of cream into broth. Add cooked rice and chicken which has been chopped into tiny pieces.
