- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- cubed, cooked chicken - 2 c
- uncooked long grain rice - 1 c
- celery ribs, sliced - 3 item
How to make chicken rice soup:
In a large saucepan, combine broth, celery, onion, salt and pepper; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Add chicken and rice; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes or until rice is tender.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Chicken, Poultry.
