Chicken pot pie



  • milk - 2 Tbsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • butter
  • eggs, beaten - 2 item
  • medium onion - 1 item
  • stalks celery - 2 item
  • medium potatoes - 2 item
  • stewing chicken - 1 item

How to make chicken pot pie:

Cook chicken, celery and onion in water until tender. About one hour before you are ready to serve, mix the noodles.

For noodle dough, mix flour, butter and salt, then add eggs and milk. Mix and knead lightly into dough. Roll out onto floured board as thin as possible. Spread with a thin coating of butter. Let stand for 1/2 hour. Cut into squares.

While noodles are resting, peel potatoes and cut into squares. Add noodles to chicken and broth until they are heavy on top of each other. Add potatoes and remaining noodles. Replace lid on pot and simmer, covered, for about 20 minutes.
