Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- pepper - 1 tsp
- can chicken broth - 1 item
- chicken breast halves - 6 item
- cans mixed vegetables, drained - 2 item
- can cream of chicken - 1 item
- can cream of celery - 1 item
- Topping Crust:1 stick oleo, melted
How to make chicken pot pie:
Topping Crust:1 stick oleo, melted1 c. flour1 c. milk Boil chicken breasts until tender. Reserve broth. Chop chicken. In a large casserole baking dish, spread chopped chicken; spread the mixed vegetables. Mix together cream of chicken, cream of celery and 1 soup can of reserved chicken broth. Pour over chicken and vegetables. Add salt and pepper.Topping Crust: Mix together melted oleo, milk and flour. Pour over ingredients. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
