How to make chicken pie:
Dumpling Recipe:2 c. self-rising flour1 egg hot water Boil chicken. Mix flour, egg and enough hot water to make a soft dough. Knead real good and roll thin. Debone chicken and cut into small pieces. Bring broth to boil and put in dumplings. Cook a few at a time (and take up), until you have as many as you need. Add chicken; take off stove. Add milk and butter. Now, pour this mixture into baking pan. Strip with crust and add dots of butter over crust. Bake at 400° until brown.Recipe categories: Chicken, Poultry, Meat.
