Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- buttermilk - 1 c
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- can cream of celery soup - 1 item
- whole fryer - 1 item
How to make chicken pie:
Cook and remove chicken from bone and put in bottom of pan. Sprinkle salt and pepper over chicken. Heat 2 cups chicken broth and can of soup and pour over chicken. Mix flour, margarine (melted) and buttermilk, then spoon evenly over top of chicken. Bake at 425 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.Recipe categories: Chicken, Poultry, Meat.
