- stick margarine - 1 item
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- milk - 1 c
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- can chicken broth may use broth from chicken - 1 item
- salt - 1 tsp
How to make chicken pie:
Boil chicken until tender, about an hour. Remove skin; pick chicken from bones. Put chicken in a baking dish (use 13 x 7-inch dish). Melt margarine; pour over chicken. Sift flour and salt; blend in milk until smooth. Spread flour mixture over chicken. In saucepan, blend soup and broth. Heat to boiling; pour over flour mixture.
