Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- buttermilk - 1 c
- self-rising flour - 1 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- chicken broth - 3 c
- stick margarine, melted - 1 item
- chicken, boiled and deboned - 1 item
How to make chicken pie:
Combine soup and broth in saucepan; bring to a boil. Boil chicken until tender. Place chicken in casserole dish, then pour broth mixture on top. Combine flour, salt, pepper, margarine and buttermilk; mix until smooth. Spoon batter over chicken and broth.
