Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 10 oz
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- white wine vinegar - 2 Tbsp
- oregano - 1 tsp
- olive oil - 2 Tbsp
- minced garlic - 2 tsp
- ground pepper - 1/4 tsp
- thyme - 1/4 tsp
- seasoned bread crumbs - 2 Tbsp
- chopped red pepper - 1 c
- boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- capers, drained - 1 Tbsp
- dry white wine or chicken broth - 1 c
How to make chicken picante:
Coat chicken with bread crumbs, brown lightly in oil over medium heat in heavy skillet and mix liquids and seasonings. Add vegetables to skillet and pour liquid-seasonings mixture over top. Cover tightly and cook over medium-low heat until chicken is done, about 25 minutes. Serves 4.Recipe categories: Sauces, Condiments, etc., Main dish.
