Chicken noodle bake
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 2/3 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/3 c
- chopped green pepper - 1/3 c
- cottage cheese - 1 c
- diced, cooked chicken or turkey - 3 c
- sliced green olives - 1/3 c
- poultry seasoning - 1/2 tsp
- can condensed cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- buttered soft bread crumbs
How to make chicken noodle bake:
Cook noodles in boiling, salted water until tender; drain and rinse in cold water. Mix next 4 ingredients; heat. Beat the cheeses together. Stir in the next 4 ingredients. Place half of the noodles in 11 1/2 x 7 1/2 x 1 1/2-inch baking pan; spread with half of the cheese mixture, half of the chicken and half of the soup; repeat layers. Top with crumbs. Bake in a moderate oven about 30 minutes or until heated through. Let stand 10 minutes. Cut in squares. Makes 8 servings.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, Lasagna.
