Ingredients/Components

  • flour - 2 Tbsp
  • lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
  • chopped onion - 1/4 c
  • salt and pepper - 1 item
  • olive oil - 2 Tbsp
  • minced parsley - 1 Tbsp
  • sliced mushrooms - 3/4 c
  • chicken stock or water
  • Marsala wine - 1/4 c
  • chicken cutlets - 2 lb

How to make chicken marsala:

Sprinkle cutlets with salt and pepper. Fry until browned. Place meat in casserole. To frying pan, add mushrooms, onion and parsley; cook a few minutes. Stir in and brown the flour. Add remaining ingredients. Cook until smooth and thick, stirring constantly. Pour over cutlets. Bake in slow oven, 325°, for one hour. Serves 6.
