Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- melted butter - 2 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1 c
- chopped celery - 1 c
- chicken broth - 4 c
- sage - 3/4 tsp
- cornbread crumbs - 4 c
- Sauce:2 sticks margarine
How to make chicken loaf:
Cook celery and onion together in a little water until tender.Sauce:2 sticks margarine1 c. flour4 c. chicken broth2 c. milk Cook over medium heat until thickens.Arrange boned chicken in bottom of 15 x 11 or 9 x 13 pan. Put dressing on top of chicken and pour sauce over dressing. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
