Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- butter - 3/4 c
- paprika - 1 tsp
- mushrooms, sliced - 1/2 lb
- chopped green onions - 1/3 c
- thyme - 1 item
- cognac - 1/4 c
- dill weed
- chicken livers - 1 lb
- clove garlic, pressed - 1 item
- drops Tabasco - 3 item
- dry mustard to taste - 1 item
- white wine vermouth is very nice - 1/3 c
How to make chicken liver pate:
Optional:1/4 tsp. dill weed thyme dry mustard to taste3 drops Tabasco1 tsp. salt1/4 c. cognac Saute 1/4 cup butter, the chicken livers, mushrooms and onions. Add wine and seasonings. Cover and cook slowly 10 minutes longer. Cool. Blend in bleRecipe categories: Appetizers, Chicken, Chicken livers.
