Chicken kiev
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- butter - 2/3 c
- garlic salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- Parmesan cheese - 2 Tbsp
- dry white wine - 1/4 c
- fine bread crumbs - 1/2 c
- oregano - 1 Tbsp
- basil - 1 Tbsp
- chopped parsley - 1/4 c
- split chicken breasts - 2 item
How to make chicken kiev:
Preheat oven to 375°. In heavy 2-quart saucepan, melt butter. On wax paper, combine bread crumbs, basil, oregano, garlic salt and salt. Dip chicken breasts in melted butter, then roll in crumbs to coat. Bake at 375° for 50 to 60 minutes or until golden brown. Add wine, onion and parsley to remaining butter. When chicken is golden brown, pour the butter sauce over it. Return to oven for 3 to 5 minutes.Recipe categories: Chicken, Poultry, Chicken breast.
