Ingredients/Components
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- chicken broth - 1 c
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- grated Cheddar cheese - 8 oz
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- stick oleo - 1/2 item
- corn tortillas - 12 item
- can green chilies - 1 oz
- chicken, boiled and boned - 1 item
How to make chicken enchiladas:
Saute onion in oleo, then add soups and chili peppers. Heat through. In bottom of casserole, break up 6 tortillas, then add half the chicken, half the soups and about 1/3 of cheese. Repeat layers, except cheese. Pour broth over all. Bake in a 325° oven for 25 minutes. Add rest of cheese; put back in oven 5 more minutes, or until cheese melts.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Poultry.
