Ingredients/Components
- ground ginger - 1 Tbsp
- curry powder - 3 Tbsp
- ground allspice - 2 Tbsp
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- large onions, chopped - 2 item
- green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- cloves garlic, chopped - 2 item
- beef broth - 2 c
- large tomatoes - 2 item
- turmeric powder - 3 tsp
- green peas - 1 c
- chopped, tart apples - 1/2 c
- medium fryer - 1 item
How to make chicken curry:
Cut up chicken as for stewing. Rub spices into chicken well with hands. Saute onions, green pepper and garlic. Place in deep pan. Add chicken, tomatoes and 1/2 cup broth; cook over low heat for 20 minutes. Add remaining broth and continue to cook. WRecipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Curries.
