Chicken cordon bleu



  • butter or margarine - 1/2 c
  • paprika - 1 item
  • bread crumbs - 1/2 c
  • salt to taste - 1 item
  • boneless chicken breast halves - 4 item
  • thin slices Swiss cheese - 4 item
  • thin slices ham - 4 item
  • sesame seed optional - 1/3 c

How to make chicken cordon bleu:

Pound the chicken breasts flat. Sprinkle with salt. Mold ham around cheese. Roll chicken around ham; secure with toothpicks. Melt butter in pie plate for about 1 minute on High. Mix sesame seed with bread crumbs. Dip chicken in butter, then roll in crumb mixture. Microwave 10 to 12 minutes on High. Rearrange once and give dish 1/2 turn during cooking. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. Serve with cheese sauce.
