Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 8 oz
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- cornstarch - 4 Tbsp
- garlic powder - 1/2 tsp
- mushrooms - 1/2 lb
- bean sprouts - 1/2 lb
- soup stock
- Accent - 1/2 tsp
- grated ginger - 1/2 tsp
- dry onion - 1 c
- green pepper, cut - 1 item
- celery, cut diagonally - 1 c
- chicken, cut thin - 1/2 lb
How to make chicken chow mein:
Gravy:4 c. soup stock4 Tbsp. cornstarch1/2 tsp. salt Cook noodles in boiling salted water until soft. Drain, rinse and then let stand to drain. Fry noodles a little at a time in well-greased pan. Drain on paper towels. Sear chicken; season with garlic, ginger, salt and Accent. Add vegetables and fry until barely cooked. Place noodles in serving dish, placing chicken and vegetables over noodles, with gravy poured on top.Recipe categories: Chicken, Pasta, Main dish.
