- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chopped celery - 1 c
- chicken broth - 4 c
- fryer - 1 (3
- can mushroom soup - 1 item
- Minute rice uncooked - 1 c
- sausage, crumbled - 1/2 c
- dry chicken noodle soup - 2 pkg
How to make chicken casserole:
Cook chicken in 4 or 5 cups salted water until done. Cool and cut into bite sized pieces. Cook vegetables in skillet with sausage until limp. At this point, mix all ingredients together well and pour into an oblong pan. Whip the can of mushroom soup and spoon over top of mixture. Sprinkle with paprika and bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.
