Chicken casserole
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- milk
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- mayonnaise - 1/2 c
- cheese - 1/2 c
- onion, diced - 1/2 c
- slices bread - 6 item
- black pepper - 1 item
- celery, diced - 1/2 c
- green pepper, diced - 1/2 c
- diced, cooked chicken - 2 c
- pimento - 1/4 c
- can mushroom soup - 1 item
How to make chicken casserole:
Cube 2 slices of white bread and place in bottom of baking dish. Combine chicken, vegetables, mayonnaise and seasonings. Spoon over bread. Trim crusts from remaining 4 slices of bread. Arrange on top. Combine eggs and milk; pour on top. Chill 1 hour or overnight. When ready to bake, spoon soup over and cook about 1 hour or until set at 325°.
