Chicken casserole



  • pkg - 1 oz
  • garlic salt - 1/2 tsp
  • chopped celery - 3 tsp
  • can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
  • chopped green pepper - 3 Tbsp
  • can cream of celery soup - 1 item
  • stick oleo - 1 item
  • Cheez Whiz - 8 oz
  • chicken, cooked with celery and onion - 1 item
  • slices bread, cubed up - 4 item

How to make chicken casserole:

Cook the chicken with celery and onion; debone and save some juice to add to mixture. Mix the chicken, green pepper, celery, Cheez Whiz and soups together; put in a medium size roaster. Melt the oleo and add garlic salt. Put the cubed bread into oleo and garlic salt mixture. Stir until bread is moistened and put on chicken mixture. Bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours.

Can also get this ready (except for baking) and freeze. Thaw before baking.
