Ingredients/Components
- stick butter or oleo - 1 item
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chopped celery - 1 c
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- chicken broth - 1 c
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- fryer - 1 item
- cornmeal stuffing - 1 pkg
How to make chicken casserole:
Cook chicken; bone and skin. Cook celery and onion in butter until soft. Heat mushroom soup, chicken soup and broth; pour over stuffing, onion and celery and mix. Butter baking dish; place boned chicken. Cover with stuffing. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes or until brown.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, Chicken breast.
