Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 item
- water - 1 c
- stick butter - 1 item
- pepper - 1 item
- chopped onion - 2 Tbsp
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- Minute rice
- thyme - 1 tsp
- jar mushrooms optional - 1 item
- or more chicken breasts - 4 item
How to make chicken casserole:
Melt butter in large skillet; brown chicken, reserving drippings. Place uncooked Minute rice in buttered large casserole dish. Place brown chicken on top. In drippings in same skillet in which chicken has been browned, add remaining ingredients. Bring to a full boil; pour over chicken and rice.
