Ingredients/Components
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- can mushrooms - 1 item
- cooked rice - 1 to
- jar Cheez Whiz - 1 oz
- can French fried onions - 1 item
- chicken broth optional - 1/4 c
- shredded Cheddar cheese optional - 1/3 c
- to 4 chicken breasts - 3 item
- onion, chopped and sauteed - 1 item
- small can early peas, drained - 1 item
How to make chicken casserole:
Cook chicken and tear into small pieces. Reserve 1/4 cup of broth. In a casserole dish, mix Cheez Whiz and soup until smooth. Add rice, peas, mushrooms, onion and chicken pieces. Add broth to moisten. Mix well and top with Cheddar cheese (optional). Top with French fried onions.
