  • sour cream
  • chopped celery
  • cooked chicken
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item

  • medium onion, chopped - 1 item
  • slivered almonds
  • cream of chicken soup
  • can diced water chestnuts - 1 item
  • can french cut green beans - 1 item
  • thinly sliced water chestnuts
  • cooked chicken, bite size pieces
  • medium jar pimento, chopped - 1 item

How to make chicken casserole:

Mix all ingredients and put in 2 quart casserole. Cover and bake for 45 minutes at 350. This recipe improves by being made a day ahead, refrigerate, then baked. Good served with rice and pineapple chunks. Serves 6 - 8.
