- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- chicken broth - 3/4 c
- bay leaf - 1/2 item
- dry white wine - 1/2 c
- basil - 1/2 tsp
- olive oil - 1/4 c
- white pepper - 1/4 tsp
- minced garlic - 1 item
- sliced mushrooms - 1 c
- chicken - 4 lb
- angel hair pasta - 1 item
- thyme - 1/8 tsp
- chopped shallots - 2 Tbsp
- Italian tomato paste - 1/4 c
How to make chicken cacciatore:
Dredge chicken in flour. Saute in olive oil with shallots and garlic. Add the rest of the ingredients, then simmer the chicken, covered, for 1 hour or until tender. Serve with angel hair pasta (cooked).Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Casseroles.
