Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/2 tsp
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • salt - 2 tsp
  • water - 2 c
  • cooking oil - 2 Tbsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1/4 c
  • bread crumbs - 1/2 c
  • onions, chopped - 2 item
  • black pepper - 1 tsp
  • chicken breasts - 4 item
  • large potatoes, diced - 3 item
  • canned tomatoes
  • Tabasco - 1/2 tsp

How to make chicken brunswick stew:

Brown chicken and onions in oil. Add tomatoes and water. Simmer 1 hour. Remove chicken. When cool, remove bones and cut up chicken. Add chicken back to pot and add remaining ingredients except bread crumbs. Simmer 1 1/2 hours.

For a less chunky stew, use potato masher. Add bread crumbs and serve. If desired, add more Worcestershire and Tabasco to taste.
