Chicken brunswick stew
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- salt - 2 tsp
- water - 2 c
- cooking oil - 2 Tbsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1/4 c
- bread crumbs - 1/2 c
- onions, chopped - 2 item
- black pepper - 1 tsp
- chicken breasts - 4 item
- large potatoes, diced - 3 item
- canned tomatoes
- Tabasco - 1/2 tsp
How to make chicken brunswick stew:
Brown chicken and onions in oil. Add tomatoes and water. Simmer 1 hour. Remove chicken. When cool, remove bones and cut up chicken. Add chicken back to pot and add remaining ingredients except bread crumbs. Simmer 1 1/2 hours.For a less chunky stew, use potato masher. Add bread crumbs and serve. If desired, add more Worcestershire and Tabasco to taste.
