Chicken breasts with cheese sauce



  • milk - 2 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 3 Tbsp
  • butter - 3 Tbsp
  • grated Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
  • chicken breasts - 4 item
  • slices bacon, cut in half - 4 item

How to make chicken breasts with cheese sauce:

Arrange chicken (skin up) in large broiler-proof dish; top with 1 piece of bacon and bake in preheated 400° oven for 25 minutes or until bacon is crisp and chicken is cooked. Spoon off fat.

Meanwhile, melt butter in saucepan and stir in flour and salt until smooth. Gradually stir in milk and cook and stir until mixture thickens. Stir in Parmesan cheese and spoon over chicken. Broil several minutes or until lightly browned. Makes 4 servings.
